Could someone explain to me why the United States spends more money killing people than taking care of its own?
The tax rebate is Bush and his cronies way of bailing out big corporations using tax payers' money, it is NOT to help poorer America.
Why is there money to help big corporations, killing people, but when it comes to Social Security, the money is running out? Why don't they bail out Social Security? My measly $300 rebate has already gone to Big Oil. Yours most likely will end up in some big corporation's pockets too and our children will have to pick up the tab.

If you are experiencing a lot of popups, toolbars, search engines and things being added to your computer like porn sites, icons on the desktop you don't know what they are or where they came from this is most likely your problem.

Lock Internet Explorer's Home Page
• Click Start
• Click Run
• Type in
  regedit
• Click OK
• When the registry edit window opens navigate to:
  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel
• If the keys for Internet Explorer and Control Panel are not present you will have to add them by doing the following
  • Right-click the Microsoft key folder
  • Click Edit on the toolbar at the top
  • New, and choose Key
  • A new key will appear, type in Internet Explorer in the name box and click anywhere outside the box to save the name
  • Then click on the Internet Explorer Key you just created and do the same to create Control Panel
  • Then click on Control Panel
  • Click Edit on the Toolbar
  • Click New
  • Click Dword
  • A new box will appear in the right pane, name it
    Homepage
  • Right click Homepage
  • Click Modify
  • Click Value
  • In the window that opens type in a number 1 to change the value from "0" to "1" to lock the homepage
  
  
  
• Now go into your Internet Explorer options. Check to be sure your homepage is locked and grayed out

• Type in regedit in the box
• Click Ok
• The registry edit window will open
• Scroll down to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies
• Highlight policies
• Then delete everything in the right pane but Default

How to Remove Content Advisor Password in Internet Explorer
• 1) Click on Start Button
• Choose Run
• 2) Type in
  regedit
• In the run box and click OK
• When the registry edit window opens click on the Plus Sign next to the following keys so they expand. As they expand look for the next one in the expanded area until you get to Ratings and when you get to it just highlight it.

  2. Software
  3. Microsoft
  4. Windows
  5. Current Version
  6. Policies
  7. Ratings
• In the right pane of the regedit window, you'll see an icon called Key.
• Click on it to highlight it and press the Delete key.
• Confirm the deletion of the key
• Exit the registry edit window.

• Restart the computer and run Internet Explorer again
• Choose View and then Internet Options (or Options for version 3.x). For IE 5 or greater, click Tools, Internet Options.
• Click on the Content tab and click on Disable.
• When asked for a password, leave it blank and click OK. This will disable Content Advisor because there's no longer a password.

Windows Cannot Access The Specified Device, Path Or File
• Two solutions that work for most are.
  • Solution 1:
    • If you recently did a windows update and are now getting an error message stating "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." This is when you try any access programs like office, users, windows firewall etc.
    • Windows cannot access the specified device when using Trend Micro 2007
      • If you recently did a windows update and are now getting an error message stating "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." This is when you try any access any programs like Office, WordPad, Windows firewall etc.
      • Go into the Trend Micro Console and click on Virus and Spyware Control.
      • Click on Suspicious software alarm system
      • Go to the exception list and allow explorer.exe or any other common files that might have been denied.
  • Solution 2:
    • Add the network drive to the trusted sites list
    • Open IE Explorer, Tools, Internet options and Click the security tab.
    • Add \\servername\ server name being the name of your server
    • Should look something like this when added
      \\servername\
