Could someone explain to me why the United States spends more money killing people than taking care of its own?
The tax rebate is Bush and his cronies way of bailing out big corporations using tax payers' money, it is NOT to help poorer America.
Why is there money to help big corporations, killing people, but when it comes to Social Security, the money is running out? Why don't they bail out Social Security? My measly $300 rebate has already gone to Big Oil. Yours most likely will end up in some big corporation's pockets too and our children will have to pick up the tab.

Three things to remember when you are working with computers.

WINDOWS XP CHKDSK.EXE (CHECK DISK)
• Check Disk has two options
  • Checks disk for file errors
  • Checks hard drive for bad clusters and tries to recover data from these bad clusters
  • Note: You do not need to select both options
  • If you choose the second option, Scan For and Attempt Recovery of Bad Sectors, Windows automatically enacts the check for file system errors as well
• Start Disk Check
  • Double-clicking My Computer
  • Right-click the hard disk drive you want to check
  • Clicking Properties
  • Select the Tools tab.
  
  
  
  
  • Click Check Now
  • A window will open showing the Check disk options is displayed
  • Select the options you want to use
  • Click Start
  
  
  
  
  • Once you choose either of the Check disk options
  • You'll receive a message that the check cannot be performed immediately
  
  
  
  
  • Click Yes to so schedule the disk check to run on the next boot up
  • The next time you start your system, the chkdsk.exe utility will run prior to Windows being loaded
  • When the utility finishes, Windows will continue to load as per a normal system start-up
